UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Thanks to a grant from the University Park Student Fee Board, Penn State students can cross “see a live performing arts event” off their bucket lists.
Tickets to the remainder of the in-person events in the Center for the Performing Arts spring season, except for touring Broadway’s “Hairspray,” will be $5 each for University Park students.
Tickets are available online, by phone at 814-863-0255, or in person at Eisenhower Auditorium from noon to 4 p.m. weekdays. A grant from the University Park Student Fee Board makes Penn State student prices possible.
Tickets will be $5 per student to attend these presentations at Eisenhower Auditorium:
- Mwenso and The Shakes, “Hope-Resist-Heal: A Celebration of Black Joy,” at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 23
- “Charles Mingus Centennial Celebration,” featuring Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31
- Small Island Big Song, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7
A valid Penn State identification card is required to purchase tickets at the University Park student price. Each eligible student may buy one discounted ticket per event per ID. Friends who want to sit together should purchase their tickets at the same time.
