Penn State Thespians to present ‘Catch Me If You Can’

The Penn State Thespians, the longest continuous running student organization on campus, will present "Catch Me If You Can" at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, and Friday, Oct. 10, and at 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, in Penn State's Schwab Auditorium.

“Catch Me If You Can,” the Penn State Thespians Fall Main Stage performance, is a high-flying musical based on the hit film and incredible true story of chasing your dreams and not getting caught. Seeing fame and fortune, Frank Abignale Jr. runs away from home with nothing more than his boyish charm and a big imagination. These skills enable him to successfully pose as a pilot, doctor, and lawyer while accumulating millions of dollars in forged checks and winning the girl of his dreams. But when Frank's lies catch the attention of FBI agent Carl Hanratty, Carl pursues Frank across the country and the world to make him pay for his crimes.

The Penn State Thespians members are dedicated to presenting theatrical entertainment for Penn State students and the State College community. Tickets cost $4.98 for students, $4.99 for children and $12 for the general public and can be purchased online at http://CatchThis.eventbrite.com. Ticket can also be purchased from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the HUB this week or at the box office a half hour before each performance.
