UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Registration is now open for the Penn State Center for Arts & Crafts’ 2016 summer arts camps. Camps are offered for children ages 6 to 14 and vary for each session and age group.
A variety of camp themes are offered, including wheel-thrown pottery, drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, multicultural art, mixed-media camps, theme-based camps and more.
The fee is $215 per camp.
For the 6 to 7 and 8 to 10 age groups, camps are for one week and run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Camp dates for these age groups are as follows:
Session 1: June 20 to 24Session 2: June 27 to July 1Session 3: July 11 to 15Session 4: July 18 to 22Session 5: July 25 to 29
For the 11 to 14 age group, camps are for two weeks and run from either 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Camp dates are as follows:
Session 1: June 20 to July 1Session 3: July 11 to 22Session 5: July 25 to 29 (one week, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
Lunch at the camps is supervised, and attendees must bring their own snacks, drinks and lunches.
