UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In honor of Parents and Families Weekend, five Penn State choirs will present a fast-paced concert in the glorious acoustic of the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14. Mixed, men's, women's, and gospel choirs will present an array of compositions from the 16th century to the present day. The concert will conclude with the audience joining more than 300 singers to perform the Penn State Alma Mater.
Performing choirs include the Concert Choir and Glee Club, conducted by Christopher Kiver; Oriana Singers, conducted by Jayne Glocke; University Choir, conducted by Steven Hankle; and Essence of Joy, conducted by Anthony Leach.
Admission is free. The concert also will be livestreamed on the Penn State School of Music website.
