UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Student Programming Association Concerts will present rapper Joey Bada$$ for the eighth annual Nittany Block Party concert. The concert will be held on the HUB-Robeson Center’s lawn, with the Alumni Hall as a rain location, at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24. Nittany Block Party is a part of Welcome Week and is a collaboration with Student Orientation and Transition Programs (SOTP).
The performance is free for all students with a valid Penn State University Park Student Photo ID and is funded by the student initiated fee.
The Student Programming Association (SPA) serves the student body at Penn State by providing diverse activities, programming assistance and resources, which enhance a student’s overall co-curricular experience.
SPA prides itself on recommending programs for the benefit of undergraduates, graduates and returning students and for others in the University community. SPA attempts to enhance the educational, social, cultural, and recreational experiences at Penn State, promote outreach and collaboration of student organizations that will foster leadership and organizational development, recognize diverse backgrounds of students and strive to provide a slate of programming that reflects and celebrates our similarities and differences.
