UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Student Programming Association will present the indie pop band COIN for a free concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in Heritage Hall in the HUB-Robeson Center at University Park.
COIN sports a fun, indie pop sound with high energy and catchy lyrics. The group’s lead single, “Talk Too Much,” from their second album, “How Will You Know If You Never Try,” landed them their first song to chart on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart. It placed at No. 8, and their full-length album pushed COIN in a new direction when it placed No. 2 on the Top Heatseekers Billboard chart. This chart is used to rank “breaking and entering” music and features up-and-coming artists.
The performance is free for all students with a valid Penn State University Park student photo ID and is funded by the Student Initiated Fee.
