WYOMISSING, Pa. — Viva Kultura, an internationally acclaimed performing arts group, will visit Penn State Berks for a 7 p.m. performance on Thursday, April 18, in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium.
Through exploration of the most universal and intimate of human emotions — love, joy, belonging — as they are expressed in cultures from around the world, Viva Kultura connects with audiences through an array of art forms, including ballet, classical Indian dance, hip-hop, jazz, folk music, and poetry. The event is free and open to the public.
Composed of artists from 15 different countries, Viva Kultura displays its multifaceted identities through visually stunning performances, drawing on the ancient traditions and texts of the world to inspire audiences to tap into their own sacred sense of self. The group has traveled through Poland, Australia, Brazil, Moldova, and most recently the United States, where its performances have been enthusiastically received at colleges and universities across the country.
