Athletics facilities master plan public presentation set for March 13

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics has concluded a comprehensive facilities master plan vision and the public will have an opportunity to learn more about the study during a public presentation on Monday, March 13.

The public presentation will begin at 3:30 p.m. and be held in Robb Hall in the Hintz Family Alumni Center. Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour will lead the discussion, which will include an opportunity for questions from the audience.

The doors to Robb Hall will open at 3 p.m.

The exhaustive study will be unveiled the morning of March 13 on Penn State’s social media channels and gopsusports.com.

Alumni, students, staff and fans who are not able to attend the March 13 meeting can submit questions via email to: questions@athletics.psu.edu and via Twitter at #PSUFacilities.

The public presentation also will be streamed live at gopsusports.com/gopsunow and on the Penn State Nittany Lions Facebook page: facebook.com/gopsusports/.

The facilities master plan is a road map for Penn State Athletics to create conditions for success for its student-athletes and enhanced experiences for the Nittany Lions’ passionate and loyal students, alumni, staff and fans. Over the past 16 months, Penn State has partnered with Populous, one of the world’s leading architecture and sport event planning firms, in collaborating on programming, developing and producing a comprehensive facilities master plan to address needs for the Nittany Lions for the next 20 years.
