Local community members, including Penn State alumni and friends, are invited to come to the Winter White Out games of the Penn State Lehigh Valley (PSU-LV) women’s and men’s basketball teams on Sunday, Feb. 9, at Stabler Arena in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The fun starts with the women’s game at noon and continues with the men’s game starting at 2 p.m. Both teams are playing Penn State Hazleton.

The event features multiple chances to win Penn State prizes, an inflatable moon bounce and basketball hoop for kids to enjoy during breaks and at halftime, and photos with the Nittany Lion mascot. Dieruff High School’s band and Southern Lehigh High School’s cheerleaders will perform. Northampton Youth Association will play at halftime of the women’s game. Coplay Sports Wildcats will play at halftime of the men’s game. The PSU-LV women’s team is coached by the 2019 PSUAC Coach of the Year Lorie Khalil, head coach; Vernon J. Mobley, assistant coach; and Advia Campbell assistant coach. The PSU-LV men’s team is coached by Ray Edwards, head coach.

Admission to the games is free. Courtside seating is first come, first served. Arena concessions will be open. Penn State Lehigh Valley Blue & White Society encourages all students to join them to cheer on the team.

The first 100 people to attend will receive a white pompom, sponsored by the Penn State Lehigh Valley Blue & White Society.

The Penn State Lehigh Valley Blue and White Society will be hosting a basketball shooting challenge during the game for current students. Sign-ups will take place on campus during the week of the game. The selected students will have a chance to win a pair of Air Pods.
