UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State fans planning to attend any of the nine home events scheduled for this weekend (Nov. 13-15) are encouraged to arrive on campus early in order to assist traffic flow and parking.
On Friday, Nov. 13, Penn State will be hosting five events from 5-7 p.m., with three of the competitions in close proximity to each other. The events will also coincide with the normal egress of Penn State faculty and staff leaving campus. On Saturday, the Nittany Lions will be hosting three events in the morning and afternoon, including two across the street from one another. There is one home competition on Sunday.
This weekend’s home events include the season openers for men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling, and the NCAA first round match for the No. 1-seed women’s soccer team.

Faculty, staff and students: Penn State parking permit holders will be able to park for free in the Jordan Center East and Stadium West lots and the East Parking Deck for all events this weekend.Men’s and women’s swimming & diving vs. UConn and Princeton, McCoy Natatorium (5 p.m.): Swimming and diving fans should plan to park in the East Parking Deck located on Bigler Road. A $1 per hour fee will be in effect for non-parking permit holders for Friday’s meet.Women’s basketball vs. Holy Cross, Bryce Jordan Center (6 p.m.): Parking will be available in the Jordan East and Stadium West lots with a $5 fee for non-parking permit holders.
The Lady Lions also are home on Sunday, Nov. 15 vs. Fordham at 2 p.m.
Women’s soccer vs. UAlbany, NCAA Tournament first round, Jeffrey Field (6:30 p.m.): Fans should utilize the Stadium West entrance off Park Avenue and identify themselves as women’s soccer fans to the attendant. Parking will be available in the paved lot as well as the grass lots south of Jeffrey Field.
Men’s hockey vs. Sacred Heart, Pegula Ice Arena (7 p.m.): Premium ticket holders will retain their priority parking. All other patrons should utilize the Jordan East and Stadium West lots with a $5 fee for non-parking permit holders.
Wrestling vs. Lock Haven, Rec Hall (7 p.m.): Wrestling fans will have the same parking options as in previous seasons with the Nittany Parking Deck, as well as the Red A lots off North Atherton Street. Parking will be free for all wrestling fans in these lots.
