LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. — The volleyball and track and field programs at Penn State Fayette, The Eberly Campus have signed Angel Buwawa, a senior at Laurel Highlands High School, for the 2019-20 season.

Buwawa plans to study nursing at Penn State Fayette to prepare for a career as a pediatric nurse. During her high school career, she has been named an All-County Volleyball, All-Section Volleyball, and All-Area Basketball athlete.

“I look forward to trying my hardest and having a great season. My cousins Anei and Siteri play for Fayette, and they motivate me,” said Buwawa. “My parents have been most influential in getting me where I am today. They always push my sisters and I to do our best in both academics and athletics.”
