UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The 2018 Penn State student football season ticket sale begins on Monday, June 18, and runs through Friday, June 22. Graduate students open the annual sale on June 18, with the sale continuing through the freshmen ticket sale on June 22.
The price of a 2018 student season ticket will rise for the first time since 2009 by $2 per game, or $14 per game for the season. The price of a student season ticket will increase from $218 to $232 for this year.
All sales will begin at 7 a.m. (Eastern) and close at 2 p.m. Sales may close prior to 2 p.m. if tickets sell out. Eligibility and the daily schedule are posted at GoPSUsports.com/studentcentral.
Intercollegiate Athletics recommends that all students eligible to participate thoroughly review all sale instructions before their assigned ticket sale date. Students also should consider printing a copy of the Quick Start sale instructions posted at GoPSUsports.com/studentcentral for reference while purchasing their ticket. Individual sale dates are determined by credits earned by May 30, 2018. Penn State Athletics sent an email the week of June 11 to all students eligible to participate in the sale confirming their sale date. All sales will occur online.
The Nittany Lions open the season against Appalachian State (Sept. 1; 3:30 p.m.) and face Kent State (Sept. 15; noon) to close out the nonconference home schedule. In Big Ten play, Penn State welcomes Ohio State (Sept. 29), Michigan State (Oct. 13; 3:30/4 p.m. — Homecoming), Iowa (Oct. 27), Wisconsin (Nov. 10), and Maryland (Nov. 24) to Happy Valley.
The online sale is open only to full-time registered students with each class being allocated a specific amount of tickets. A "Sold Out" message will be posted to Student Central when ticket resources have been exhausted for that day's respective class sale.
Specific questions about the sale can be addressed by calling the Athletics Customer Relations Center at 1-800-NITTANY (648-8269) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Athletics Customer Relations Center hours during the sale week (June 18-22) will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers also can send questions to studenttickets@psu.edu.
