GoPSUsports.com, the official Web site of Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, launched a new and improved media player for its PENN STATE ALL-ACCESS media platform. Utilizing Microsoft's Silverlight technology, developed by CBS College Sports Online, the new media player will provide access across all Web browsers and computer platforms.

"Penn State Athletics and CBS College Sports Online could not be more excited to offer our fans the new and improved PENN STATE ALL-ACCESS," said Associate Athletic Director for Business Relations and Communications Greg Myford. "This change will deliver the audio and video offerings of GoPSUsports.com faster and more efficiently then ever- not to mention utilizing cutting-edge cross-browser technology that will bring the Nittany Lions to everyone's computer."

PENN STATE ALL-ACCESS now offers an improved search engine, which allows users to quickly locate videos covering all 29 Penn State Athletics teams and more than 800 student-athletes. Fans can search by sport, type of video and date to quickly locate the freshest content. Additionally, fans continue to have access to the rapidly expanding archive of video stored on GoPSUsports.com right at their fingertips.

Silverlight, which was used by NBC to provide more than 2,200 hours of Olympic internet coverage in Beijing, will be required to perform a quick one-time download of the player before accessing the new video player.

This latest advancement through GoPSUsports.com ensures Nittany Lion fans the most in-depth coverage and interactive content ever of Penn State sports.
