Some members of the Penn State Lady Lions basketball team paid a special visit to Penn State Children’s Hospital recently. The group included assistant coach Tamika Jeter, and players Sarah McMurtry, Leah Knizner, Amari Carter and Peyton Whitted.
The players participated in crafts and other activities with children, while also signing autographs and posing for photos.
While on campus, the team members also took a tour of the Penn State Breast Center, which is among the beneficiaries of the team’s Pink Zone fundraising efforts, including the annual Pink Zone basketball game at University Park.
