NEW ORLEANS, La. -- For the first time since week seven of 2014, the Penn State men’s and women’s track and field teams are both ranked inside the top-25 of the indoor track and field season National Computer Rankings, as released Monday afternoon by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Both Nittany Lion track and field teams are represented in the rankings with the men’s team holding steady at No. 21, while the women made their season debut in the top-25 checking in at No. 25.
The Penn State track and field teams wrapped up action this past weekend at the Penn State National meet with a new school record and several strong performances that rank in the top-10 in the nation, including the No. 1 men’s DMR in the nation – fourth-fastest in NCAA history.
