UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State students can attend this Saturday's 95th Homecoming game vs. Northwestern at a special price -- two tickets for $40 each with their valid student ID.

Students from all Penn State campuses and the World Campus are able to buy two tickets for the Nittany Lions' Big Ten home opener on the heels of last Saturday's 48-7 win over Massachusetts.

Public tickets for the Homecoming contest are also available at www.PSUnrivaled.com, 1-800-NITTANY (weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m) or at the Bryce Jordan Ticket ticket office (weekdays, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.).

Penn State is 4-0 for the first time since 2008 and James Franklin is the first Penn State first-year coach to start 4-0 since Dick Harlow in 1915. Franklin and Harlow are only Nittany Lion coaches to begin their careers 4-0 in the 128 years of the program.

The Nittany Lions have an all-time Homecoming record of 68-21-5, including a 2-0 mark against Northwestern.

Penn State's home attendance is up an average of 5,395 in the first two games of this season, compared to the opening two games in 2013.

Public and student tickets for the clash between Penn State and Northwestern are available in advance Monday through Friday at the Bryce Jordan Ticket ticket office (weekdays, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.).

Public tickets and the special student $40 ticket offer also will be available this Saturday at the Beaver Stadium ticket office (Near Gate E) from 8 a.m. until the noon kickoff.

The seats for this special student ticket offer will not be located in the 21,000-seat season ticket student section in Beaver Stadium.

More than 6,000 new Penn State football season tickets and nearly 70,000 single game and group sale tickets have been sold for this season. Ticket purchases and information are available at www.PSUnrivaled.com or by calling 1-800-NITTANY, weekdays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Pre-paid single game parking passes for the general parking lots for all home games also are available at www.GoPSUsports.com/tickets.
