UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Penn State Student Nittany Lion Club members can purchase tickets online through Student Account Manager to attend the Nittany Lions’ matchup with USC in the 2017 Rose Bowl beginning Friday at 7 a.m. Penn State students that are not Student NLC members can purchase tickets to the January 2 meeting in Pasadena at the Bryce Jordan Center Ticket Office beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.
Overnight camping out for Rose Bowl tickets is prohibited, as temperatures Friday night will be below freezing. Students may begin lining up outside the Jordan Center at 6 a.m. on Saturday.
Each student will be permitted to purchase one $150 ticket and must present a valid Penn State ID+ Card to secure a ticket. Cash, credit and Lion Cash will be accepted Saturday at the in-person sale. Tickets sold on Saturday will be issued at the time of purchase.
The No. 5 Nittany Lions (11-2) and the No. 9 Trojans (9-3) were selected for their 10th all-time meeting and third in the Rose Bowl Game. The teams last met in the 2009 Rose Bowl Game, which USC won, 38-24. The trip marks Penn State’s 47th all-time bowl appearance.
Students buying during the SNLC pre-sale can pay with credit or debit card only. Tickets purchased by SNLC members will be available for pick-up Monday, Dec. 12, through Friday, Dec. 16, from 9 a.m- 4:30 p.m. at the Jordan Center ticket office. All tickets must be picked up by 4:30 p.m on Friday, Dec. 16. Students wishing to sit together must pick up their tickets at the same time.
