Students can purchase Temple tickets Monday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State students can purchase tickets to attend the Nittany Lions' season-opener on Saturday, Sept. 5, against Temple at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Students who want to attend the contest can purchase a ticket at Gate B (northeast corner) of the Bryce Jordan Center beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 31.

A limited number of student tickets will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis for the contest at Lincoln Financial Field. Each student will be permitted to purchase a $50 ticket and must present a valid Penn State ID+ Card to secure a ticket. Sales of all tickets will be done on a cash only basis. Credit cards, checks and Lion Cash will not be accepted.

Students wishing to purchase tickets so that they may sit together at the Temple game will need to make their ticket purchase together at Gate B of the BJC on Monday morning. Students may arrive at the Jordan Center at 6 a.m. on Monday for the sale.

The Penn State-Temple game will kick at 3:30 p.m. and air on ESPN, the Penn State Sports Network (2 p.m. airtime) and GoPSUsports.com.

Season, partial season and single game tickets for the 2015 campaign are on sale, with more than 4,800 new season tickets having been sold. To purchase tickets or for information on joining the Nittany Lion Club and purchasing new 2015 season tickets, as well as club seating in Beaver Stadium, fans can visit PSUnrivaled.com, call 1-800-NITTANY or visit the Bryce Jordan Center ticket office weekdays from 10 a.m to 6 p.m.
