Women's basketball to host community carnival on Oct. 25

Free community carnival to feature Lady Lion players and coaches, along with games and free food

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State Lady Lion basketball team will be hosting the third annual Lady Lion Community Carnival on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center. The Lady Lions will be on hand to run fun carnival games, booths and food stations, while interacting with members of the community.

The carnival will provide entertainment for kids of all ages and is free. Fun activities will include a bounce house, pumpkin decorating, face painting, witches brew, hocus pocus and much more. Fans will also have their chance to dunk their favorite Lady Lions in a dunk tank.

There will also be great food available at the carnival, including popcorn, cotton candy, ice cream, hot dogs, pretzels, lemonade and apple cider.

Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and attendees should park in the parking lot adjacent to the Bryce Jordan Center (commuter Lot 44) and enter through Gate B of the Bryce Jordan Center.

The bag policy will be in place for this event. As such, no backpacks or duffle bags are permitted during events at this venue. No bags or purses larger than 8.5"x11"x6" will be permitted. All other bags will be searched upon entrance to the facility.

Additionally, fans can head across the street to the Penn State All Sports Museum for the annual trick or treat event that runs from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. that day. Admission is also free for this event. Penn State student-athletes will be on hand to pass out candy to visitors.
