Penn State Beaver has formed a new cheerleading squad for the 2007-2008 year with Nicole Wilson as head coach. Wilson is the full-time transfer admissions and career counselor at Beaver campus and hopes to promote Penn State spirit on campus as well as in the surrounding communities. One of the events in which the squad will participate will be Midnight Madness, Sunday, Oct. 15.

Team members are:

-- Freshmen: Ashlee Ashburn, Moon Area High School; Autumn Dobrin and Macy Marshall, Ambridge Area High School; Brande Slima, Venango Catholic High School; Heather Stutler, Burgettstown High School; and Heather Toms, Chartiers Valley High School.

-- Sophomores: Allison Bail and Kalee Krobut, Sto-Rox High School; Chelsea Brownlee, Avella High School; Melanie Fuhr, Hopewell High School; Mallory Meehan, Lincoln High School; and Amy Roberts, Rochester High School.
