Officers for the Penn State Beaver Student Government Association (SGA) and the chair of the THON Committee for the 2012-13 academic year have been announced.
Je Qa Powe is president, Dora Tweneboah is vice president, Angelique Matthews is secretary, and Jon Lach is treasurer. Erica DeLuca was elected chair of the THON Committee which oversees fundraising and campus activities in support of the annual Penn State Dance Marathon (THON) for pediatric cancer patients and their families.
Powe is a freshman engineering major from Pittsburgh, and Tweneboah is a sophomore health and human development major from Alexandria, Va. Matthews, from Cypress, Ca., is a freshman in the Division of Undergraduate Studies, and Lach is a sophomore business major from Conway. DeLuca, from Phoenix, Az., is a sophomore major in liberal arts.
