The Penn State Behrend Jazz Ensemble will perform its fall concert on Dec. 7 in McGarvey Commons, in the college’s Reed Union Building. The program, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 8 p.m.

The ensemble will perform music by Miles Davis, Mike Tomaro, John Fedchock and other composers.

Joel Hunt, associate teaching professor of music, conducts the ensemble, which is comprised of saxophones, trumpets, trombones and piano, as well as a rhythm section consisting of guitar, bass and drums.

In addition to student performers and soloists, the concert will feature guest spots by Keith Lenz, Joe Porter, Kent Tucker and Gary Viebranz.
