"Behrend Reads"

Penn State Behrend faculty members will read from their original work at the annual “Behrend Reads” program, which is part of the Smith Creative Writers Reading Series at the college. The March 14 program, which begins at 6 p.m. in the lobby of Metzgar Center, is free and open to the public.
“Behrend Reads” is a celebration of faculty-produced poetry, fiction and non-fiction. This year’s program will feature readings by the following faculty members:
- Kevin Belknap, lecturer of English
- Martin Carrión, assistant teaching professor of Spanish and political science
- Elizabeth Fogle, associate teaching professor of English
- George Looney, distinguished professor of creative writing and English
- Frédérique Marty, assistant teaching professor of French
- Tom Noyes, professor of creative writing and English
- Evan Ringle, assistant teaching professor of English
The Smith Creative Writers Reading Series is produced by Penn State Behrend’s creative writing program, which leads to a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. The program is the only one of its kind at Penn State.
