Discussion of Ukraine War and food crisis

The Public Policy Fund at Penn State Behrend will host a discussion with Oleg Nivievskyi, an assistant professor at the Kyiv School of Economics and coordinator of the UaFoodTrade research project, on Monday, Sept. 26. The program, which will be hosted on Zoom, begins at noon.

Nivievskyi is an expert in spatial economics, efficiency and productivity analysis. He has more than 18 years of international experience in agri-food and regulatory policy.

The UaFoodTrade project is a joint research group that supports Ukraine’s agricultural and food economies, which were upended when Russia invaded the country. The program is a partnership of the Kyiv School of Economics, the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies and the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club.
