Gender Conference at Penn State Behrend

The author Tiffany D. Jackson will give the keynote talk at Penn State Behrend’s annual Gender Conference on Thursday, April 11. She will discuss her creative process and the challenge of writing for young adults in a time of book bans and library catalog challenges.

Jackson is the author of “Monday’s Not Coming,” “Allegedly” and “Grown,” among other young-adult titles. Her television credits include work at National Geographic, BET, BBC America, FUSE and Roc Nation.

At Behrend, Jackson will anchor the Gender Conference, with a public talk at 7 p.m. in the Reed Union Building auditorium.
