Penn State Behrend Commencement

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM / December 16, 2022

Penn State Behrend will award 231 undergraduate and graduate degrees at the college’s fall commencement program on Friday, Dec. 16. The program, which begins at 6 p.m. in Junker Center, will be livestreamed at behrend.psu.edu/commencement.

Massimo Verzella, associate professor of English composition, will give the faculty address. Joseph W. Snyder, retired president of Process and Data Automation, will give the commencement address. Snyder is a 1997 graduate of the college.

The graduates will enter the program led by student marshals — the students with the highest grade-point average in each of Behrend’s four academic schools. This year’s marshals are Mohamed Rashed Alhmoudi, for the School of Engineering; Brittany Anderson, for the Black School of Business; Timothy Lehman, for the School of Science; and Amaya Willis, for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
