'Sweet Sorrow' readings at Penn State Behrend

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM / April 27, 2023

Two students in the creative writing program at Penn State Behrend will read from their work at the second of this spring’s “Sweet Sorrow” readings, which showcase student-written poetry and prose. The April 27 program, which begins at 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Metzgar Center, is free and open to the public.

Celine Gauge and Nick Oster will read from their original work. Both are seniors, and from Erie.

The “Sweet Sorrow” readings are part of the Smith Creative Writers Reading Series, which is produced by Behrend’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program in creative writing, with support from the Clarence A. and Eugenie Baumann Smith Fund. To learn more about the series, visit behrend.psu.edu/readings.
