'Sweet Sorrow' readings at Penn State Behrend

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM / November 30, 2023

Two students in the creative writing program at Penn State Behrend will read from their work at the Nov. 30 “Sweet Sorrow” reading event, in the lobby of Metzgar Center. The program, which begins at 6 p.m., is free and open to the public.

Carolyn Hogg and Kaila Heltzel will read from their original work. Both are seniors in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program in creative writing at Behrend — the only program of its type at Penn State.

The “Sweet Sorrow” readings are part of the Smith Creative Writers Reading Series and are supported by the Clarence A. and Eugenie Baumann Smith Fund. To learn more about the series, visit www.behrend.psu.edu/readings.
