'Sweet Sorrow' readings at Penn State Behrend

6:00 PM - 7:00 PM / April 25, 2024

Two students in the creative writing program at Penn State Behrend will read from their work at the April 25 “Sweet Sorrow” event, in the lobby of Metzgar Center. The readings, which begin at 6 p.m., are free and open to the public.

The “Sweet Sorrow” readings are a showcase for original student work. This week’s program will feature two student writers, Alanna Gillis and Jake Swanson, who will read from their novels.

The “Sweet Sorrow” readings are part of the Smith Creative Writers Reading Series and are supported by the Clarence A. and Eugenie Baumann Smith Fund. To learn more about the series, visit the Creative Writers Reading Series webpage.
