Two students in the Creative Writing program at Penn State Behrend will read from their work at the Dec. 4 “Sweet Sorrow” event, in the lobby of Metzgar Center. The readings, which begin at 6 p.m., are free and open to the public.
The “Sweet Sorrow” readings are a showcase for original student work. The Dec. 4 program will feature two student writers, Gemma Malone and Gabriel Ballard, who will read from their senior theses.
The “Sweet Sorrow” readings are part of the Smith Creative Writers Reading Series and are supported by the Clarence A. and Eugenie Baumann Smith Fund. To learn more about the series, visit the Creative Writers Reading Series webpage.
