ERIE, Pa. — The Public Policy Fund at Penn State Behrend will host a panel discussion about Ukraine on Wednesday, Feb. 9, beginning at 3 p.m. on Zoom. This program is open to the public at no charge.

Lena Surzhko-Harned, assistant teaching professor of political science, will moderate the discussion, which will explore ongoing Russian aggression and a troop build-up that has escalated tensions in the region. She will be joined by Elena Besedina, a professor at the Kyiv School of Economics; Olena Lennon, a professor at the University of New Haven; and Nataliia Kasianenko, a professor at California State University, Fresno.

The Public Policy Fund at Behrend was created to bring together a diversity of perspectives to inform public policy decisions that affect the Erie region and similar communities in the Great Lakes and Ohio River Basin areas.
