      Behrend basketball players score 1,000th career points

      ERIE, Pa. — With the first shot of the game — a pull-up jumper against Pitt-Bradford on Jan. 3 — Rachel Majewski, a junior from Erie, scored her 1,000th point for Penn State Behrend. Tommy DiRienzo, a senior from Pittsburgh, scored his 1,000th point three days later, in a win over Penn State Altoona.

      • Pitt-Bradford 79, Penn State Behrend 64

      Matthew McDonough, a sophomore from Pittsburgh, scored 17 points against Hunter. He scored 12 points against Penn State Altoona.

      Morgan Altavilla, a sophomore from Pittsburgh, scored 22 points against Bethany. Alexis Furyes, a junior from Medina, Ohio, scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against Penn State Altoona.
