ERIE, Pa. — The Penn State Behrend women’s basketball team is 3-0 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play. The team will carry a nine-game winning streak into a Dec. 29 matchup at the Basketball Destinations Post-Christmas Classic.

PJ Gourley, a senior from Butler, scored a game-high 21 points against Fredonia. Kenny Fukon, a senior from Cranberry Township, scored 14 points against Medaille and added 14 rebounds.
Women’s basketball

Penn State Behrend 74, Washington & Jefferson 59
Kara Haslett, a senior from Baden, scored a career-high 26 points against Medaille. Alanna Dibble, a senior from Lakewood, New York, scored 23 points against Washington & Jefferson.
Men’s track and field
Phoenix Myers, a senior from Erie, won the mile run at the Alumni Opener at Nazareth College, finishing in 4:25.17. Eric Stehlik, a senior from Northport, New York, placed second in the 60-meter dash, finishing in 7.29.
Women’s track and field
Olivia Nola, a freshman from Erie, won the mile run at the Alumni Opener at Nazareth College, finishing in 5:31.73. She also won the 3000-meter race, finishing in 11:02.13.
Wrestling
Oswego 45, Penn State Behrend 6
Heavyweight Joe Newara, a senior from Harborcreek, won by pin in 5:36.
