UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Nearly 20 members of the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications will present their research Nov. 14-17 at the annual National Communication Association Convention in Baltimore.

The collection of researchers includes seven faculty members and 10 graduate students from the Bellisario College. They will present on innovative and timely issues in many areas of the communications field. Topics cover social, cultural, health and diversity communications, among others.

Bellisario College graduate student Nicholas Eng’s study on companies using corporate social responsibility to attract young professionals won an award for top paper.

This is the 105th convention for the association, which advances communication as the discipline that studies all forms, modes, media and consequences of communication through humanistic, social scientific and aesthetic inquiry. NCA serves the scholars, teachers, and practitioners who are its members by enabling and supporting their professional interests in research and teaching.
