UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — An information and interest meeting about the first-ever Short Doc Workshop at Penn State will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 in Carnegie Cinema.

Film-video, journalism and telecommunications students interested in documentary storytelling are encouraged to attend the interest meeting.

The workshop will be held March 17-20, 2016. Students will shoot, edit and produce a short documentary film, coached by alumni working in the fields of filmmaking and journalism. The workshop promises to be an intense, hands-on and exciting opportunity for students to learn under the close guidance of working professionals and faculty.
