Leaders of Prison Journalism Project featured in Nov. 19 webinar

The co-founders and co-executive directors of the Prison Journalism Project, housed in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State, will be speaking at the final session of Reveal Digital’s webinar series highlighting American Prison Newspapers, 1800-2019: Voices from the Inside, the new Open Access initiative from Reveal Digital.

Shaheen Pasha, assistant teaching professor in the Bellisario College, and Yakari Iwatani Kane, an adjunct professor at Northwestern University and San Quentin news adviser, will be discussing how they see the future of prison journalism unfolding and how their project aims to be a leader in that space.
