Penn State Berks theatre program presents ‘All in the Timing’ and ‘Love Kills’

WYOMISSING, Pa. — Penn State Berks will present its spring mainstage theatre production of select one-act plays from "All in the Timing" by David Ives and “Love Kills” at 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, through Saturday, April 13, in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $10 for the general public and $5 for the campus community with a Penn State ID.

The Penn State Berks production of “All in the Timing” will feature four of the 14 short one-act plays: “The Philadelphia,” “The Universal Language,” “Sure Thing” and “English Made Simple.” These 10- to 15-minute plays focus on people looking for a connected relationship. “All in the Timing” is presented by special arrangement with Broadway Licensing LLC, serving the Dramatists Play Service play collection. 

James Brown, instructor in theater at Penn State Berks, will direct the production. The cast is composed of Penn State Berks students: Olive Rice, Skyler Zaleski, Anthony Cruz, Alice Neikam, Ashley Peck, Connor Alexander, Ugo Ike-Egolum and Colleen Klahr.

“Love Kills” is a short play about the untold story of domestic abuse. It will be directed by Penn State Berks student Natalie Melgar. The cast includes students Skylar Zaleski, Connor Alexander, Ugo Ike-Egolum, Anthony Cruz and Olive Rice.

Penn State Berks students Lauren Hoffman and Allison Harvey will serve as stage manager and sound designer, respectively, for both productions.
