MEDIA, Pa. – Penn State Brandywine kicked off its new student orientation program for the 2023-24 academic year on Thursday, June 1. Almost 500 first-year and transfer students are expected to start at Brandywine in August.
“I can’t wait for college to have a more flexible schedule,” said Emily Yoder, an incoming first-year student. “I’m really looking forward to being more free while I’m at Brandywine – just having that sense of freedom and responsibility.”
Other students expressed how excited they are to get involved.
“I’m really looking forward to getting to know the Penn State culture and pursue a degree in psychology,” said Ny’Leema White-Bond, another incoming first-year student. “I’m so excited to get involved once I get here in August. There are so many clubs that I want to join.”
At new student orientation, incoming students are able to schedule their classes for the fall semester and learn more about the campus culture, including clubs, events and health and wellness resources.
