HAZLETON, Pa. – The Greater Hazleton Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association will host its annual golf tournament at Sand Springs Country Club in Drums, Pennsylvania, on Friday, May 14.

Cost is $65 for chapter members and $70 for non-chapter members. Cost includes cart rental, green fee, hot dog and beverage lunch and buffet-style dinner with all proceeds benefiting the chapter's scholarship and academic award for Penn State Hazleton students.

The registration deadline is Friday, May 7. Payment must accompany a completed form to guarantee a reservation. Early registration is recommended as space is limited.

The tournament will be held in a 4-person scramble, captain and crew format, with four golfers per team. Hole-in-one prizes will be awarded for longest drive, closest to the pin, and circle of gold.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with a tournament start time of 1 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine.
