The American Association of University Women (AAUW) will hold its 55th annual used book sale from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, through Tuesday, May 17, at the Snider Agricultural Arena on Penn State’s University Park campus.
More than 250,000 books, sorted into 30 categories — including children’s books, fiction, biographies, newer text books, collectors, sports, hobbies, history, mysteries and more — will be available for purchase. Sale proceeds will fund AAUW State College scholarships, community grants, STEM programs for girls, and AAUW-funded programs and projects.
Important sale information:
- Purchases require cash or checks only, credit cards will not be accepted.
- Bring your own cloth grocery bags for shopping.
- Monday, May 16, will be half-price day.
- Tuesday, May 17, will be bag day — fill your own grocery bag with books for $7.
