Bahá’í Campus Association holding Light of Unity Festival on Oct. 22

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Bahá’í Campus Association at Penn State and Bahá’ís of Centre County are preparing to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh, the founder of the Bahá’í faith, on Oct. 22.

Members of the Bahá’í faith will hold a Light of Unity Festival at Penn State to celebrate Bahá’u’lláh’s message of humanity’s oneness. The festival, which is open to the public, features a display in the Pasquerilla Spiritual Center lobby, on view until the end of this month, and a screening of the documentary “Light to the World: Life of Bahá'u'lláh” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in 111 Chambers Building.

The Bahá’í festival culminates with a celebration of the birth of Bahá’u’lláh at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, in 107 Pasquerilla Spiritual Center. The celebration will feature songs, performances and activities for children.
