The Bangladesh Student Association (BSA) at Penn State is organizing Bangladesh Night 2016 to celebrate the 46th Independence Day of Bangladesh at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, at the State College Friends School, located at 1900 University Dr.
Bangladesh Night 2016 will showcase the rich heritage of Bangladesh with cultural performances in contemporary and traditional music, dance routines and recitals by Penn State students and State College residents. An authentic Bangladeshi dinner will be served and henna art and crafts will be available for purchase (cash only).
The event is open to the community and tickets are available in the HUB-Robeson Center between 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. now through Thursday, March 24, for $15 (cash) or online at the BSA website. Proceeds will benefit THON and the Manush Manusher Jonyo Foundation Inc.
