UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Campus Shuttle and Zagster bike share riders will see increased service options for the fall 2019 semester.

A second shuttle has been added to the Campus Shuttle via Beaver Avenue route, increasing service frequency to its 16 stops from every 35 minutes to every 20 minutes. The Beaver Avenue route operates on weekdays from 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters, while the Campus Shuttle via College Avenue route runs in the opposite direction and offers year-round service to 23 stops every 15 minutes on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Both Campus Shuttle routes are fare-free and ADA-accessible. Download the TransLoc Rider app or visit psu.transloc.com for real-time Campus Shuttle and CATABUS stops, arrival predictions and updates.

There are also a new additions to Penn State's Zagster bike share program, which recently celebrated the start of its third year of operation by surpassing 50,000 rides. During Arrival Weekend the first off-campus bike share station was installed downtown on South Allen Street across from the State College Borough Building. This station is funded by the University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) as a one-year pilot program between Penn State and the State College Borough to determine if additional off-campus stations are feasible. Three new on-campus stations were also added near Willard Building, Nittany Hall and the Land and Water Research Building, the last of which was partially sponsored by the Sustainability Institute. With the additon of these four new stations and 25 new bikes, Penn State's Zagster bike share program is now comprised of 110 bikes across 21 stations.

Annual memberships for Zagster are $25 for students and $35 for faculty and staff. To learn more and to sign up for the Penn State Zagster program, visit zagster.com/psu.
