UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Given the nation’s, Pennsylvania’s and the University’s focus on social distancing in helping to combat coronavirus to protect our community, Penn State’s Berkey Creamery is closing its retail store on campus until further notice.
“The top priority at the Penn State Creamery is the safety of our customers and our staff,” said Jim Brown, assistant manager. “As a food service facility, we have strict protocols in place for cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting, and we have continued that vigilance in the wake of the coronavirus. However, in-person sales must be suspended at this time.”
Brown added that online sales of Creamery products will continue, as will the Flavor Madness contest.
“We appreciate our customers’ understanding and encourage everyone to follow good health hygiene recommendations to protect themselves and those around them,” Brown said.
