WYOMISSING, Pa. — As part of the Penn State Berks Sustainability Film Series, the college will host a screening of the film "Half-Mile, Upwind, On Foot" at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, April 19, in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium, followed by a discussion led by Karen Feridun, founder of Berks Gas Truth. This event is free and open to the public.
This 50-minute documentary tells the story of communities who are working to challenge construction of two different pipeline projects in Pennsylvania. The film will share the stories of people who are rising up to assert their basic right to a clean, sustainable environment and a safe community.
