Bike workshop for the LGBTQ + community set for April 14 at the Bike Den

Open to the Penn State and Centre Region community, the Bike Den is a welcoming space for people of all ability levels to connect and engage around biking. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — To celebrate Penn State’s Campus Pride Month, the Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, the Gender Equity Center, and Transportation Services are offering a bike workshop for the LGBTQ+ community at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at the Bike Den, located in the West Parking Deck at University Park.

Workshop topics will include bike safety and tips for cyclists, and discussions about the history of cycling and the LGBTQ+ community and resources available for queer cyclists.
