UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Athletes, student organization presidents, a Children's Peace Prize winner and college deans all are set to be auctioned off Thursday, Feb. 26, with proceeds benefiting Relay For Life of Penn State.

Some of the individuals who will be put on the auction block include, Meeten Doshi, president of Blue & White Society; Megan Renaut, THON 2015 director; Christian Brady, dean of the Schreyer Honors College; Neha Gupta, winner of the International Children's Peace Prize; Nolan Amos, president of Alpha Phi Omega; Carl Nassib, football player; and Sara Moore, fencer.

Come bid on these well-known Penn State celebrities at the fourth annual “Kiss Away Cancer Date Auction.”

The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Hintz Family Alumni Center on the University Park campus of Penn State. Cost of admission is $4.99. There also will be a silent auction for jewelry. All money raised during the event goes directly to Relay For Life of Penn State.

“This annual co-sponsored event between the Blue & White Society and Relay For Life of Penn State continues the fight against cancer after THON has concluded for the year,” said Ryan Jacobs, director of community service for the Blue & White Society. “Our Penn State celebs have agreed to go on a ‘date’ with the highest bidder, so be sure to come with your wallets ready!”

Relay For Life is an inspiring 24-hour walk-a-thon to represent the fact that cancer never sleeps. Throughout the year, Penn State students and members of the State College community work to raise funds and promote awareness for the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life of Penn State 2015 will be held on April 11 and 12. For more information, visit www.psurelay.com.
