Center for Immigrants’ Rights Clinic offering DACA information session Sept. 20

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Law’s Center for Immigrants’ Rights Clinic will host an information session titled “The Future of DACA: What Lies Ahead” at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, in Room 116 of the Lewis Katz Building at University Park.

Presenters will share information about changes to the Deferred Action of Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and provide resources for the community. To place a human face on these changes, a DACA recipient will share his personal story. Refreshments and food will be provided.

This event is co-sponsored by the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, Black Law Students Association, Latinx Law Students Association, and the Public Interest Law Fund.

Questions about the event, which is part of Welcoming America’s national Welcoming Week celebration, should be directed to Deokhee Ryu at dur7@psu.edu.
