UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Transportation Services has announced the following changes to campus parking and transit services at the University Park campus during the University's winter break.

Parking

Monday, Dec. 19, through Friday, Jan. 6:

Core faculty/staff permit holders (Brown, Green, Orange, Red, Silver, Yellow) may park at the following student lots through Friday, Jan. 6: Brown 11, Lot 22, Lot 81 and Lot 82.

Thursday, Dec. 22, through Monday, Jan. 2:

Weekend parking regulations will be in effect, which means that faculty/staff and student permit holders may park in all areas normally available to them during evening/weekend hours.

Visitor parking will be available in the East, HUB, Nittany and West decks at no charge from noon Thursday, Dec. 22, through midnight Monday, Jan. 2.

Overnight restrictions between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. for the Commuter lots will remain in effect, and all reserved parking spaces such as ADA, service/delivery, etc. will remain reserved.

Event parking

For men’s hockey, men’s basketball and women’s basketball games from Dec. 29-31 and on Jan. 1, parking will be $10 via ParkMobile (zone no. 95112) or Commuter lot pay stations for those without a Penn State or prepaid parking permit.

Visit psu.parkmobile.io to purchase discounted prepaid event parking.

Department vehicle parking

Departments are asked to relocate University vehicles parked in surface parking areas to one of the campus parking decks during the winter break period.

In the event that snowfall occurs over the break, parking these vehicles in the decks assists crews responsible for snow removal and surface treatment and ensures that vehicles are clear and available for use when needed.
