UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — An exciting new addition to the HUB-Robeson Center retail dining options opened in August. Cow & Cookie has expanded from a cart to a full-size store in the HUB that sells offerings from the Penn State Bakery and the Penn State Berkey Creamery.
Cow & Cookie’s new location is adjacent to Sbarro and is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. One of Cow & Cookie’s signature items is the Quake, a combination of Berkey Creamery soft-serve ice cream blended with Penn State Bakery treats. Among the other items available are various creamery pints, cookie tins and whoopie pies. Celebration cakes and other desserts from the Penn State Bakery also can be purchased.
“I’m very excited about Cow & Cookie’s expansion to a full-size store,” said Pam Watters, associate director of campus retail dining. “It is a great addition to the HUB and a wonderful location to enjoy delicious treats from the Penn State Bakery and Penn State Berkey Creamery.”
With the expansion, in-person ordering for Quakes is now available for the first time. Additionally, online ordering for Cow & Cookie will be available soon through Penn State Eats, the University’s mobile ordering app, and it will accept all major credit cards, LionCash, campus meal plans and commuter meal plans.
